Kindle Fire issue I got

One day, my Kindle Fire is not working. The apps acted strangely.

After trying different things, I found the date and time setting on my Kindle Fire changed by itself. I set date and time back, all apps are working again. Few days later, it happened again. I was wondering why it was happening.

Finally, I found Kindle Fire battery discharged by itself. If I don't use it for few days, it is not working unless I charge it and set date/time back to correct value. I know I get what I pay. It is cheaper than iPad mini and battery capacity is smaller.

Really funny

Recently, some apps are not working in my Kindle Fire. When I tried to upgrade, it asks me to go to application store and re-download. So, I went there, the application store is not working. The applications such as TurnIn is not working. It is a kind frustrating with application upgrade on Kindle Fire. I don't like to upgrade it since it is not that old.

(update)Finally, I figured out the date was wrong in my Kindle Fire. It was causing all the issues including several applications not working. After I set the date and time back to correct value, everything is working. It is really a lesson regarding Kindle Fire to learn.

What I like to see in Kindle Fire

I have this Kindle Fire since Nov last year. It is great one so I use it everyday.

Power button on Kindle Fire

Like many people are feeling about this power button, I have the same issue with its location. It is easily and accidentally to press it and turn Kindle Fire off. It happened several times to me. Maybe because I used to using iPad home button. I press it as I press iPad home button.

This button is too close to mini USB and headphone. Guess this button was put here to easy access.

The location of speakers on Kindle Fire is very good. The sound quality is great for me.

In good size

Kindle Fire is with right size to read ebooks, watch video, play games and browse web. The on-screen keyboard is easy to use without mis-typing. I cannot find the place to add or choose keyboard for any foreign language.

It will be better if there is screen capture function I can use with Kindle Fire as iPad.

I can hold it with one hand and feel it is a little bit heave.

I wish Apple make 7 inch iPad and sell in good price next year.

TV.com app looks good in Kindle Fire

I downloaded free tv.com app for Kindle Fire and found it runs pretty well. I also have this apps in iPad and iPhone. It seems not as good in Kindle Fire.
